There's a secret world of "overemployed" people who are holding down multiple high-paying jobs. "Overemployed" workers use their own language and codenames on Reddit. download the app Email address Sign up By clicking “Sign Up”, you accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy . Taking on multiple jobs to make ends meet isn't new, but these are professionals, often making large salaries, who are making hay in the remote work sunshine. Facebook mom groups talk about DH (dear husband) or LO (little one, or kid); and on looksmaxxing TikTok they talk about mogging (being more handsome than someone else).

Holding down multiple jobs has long been a backbreaking way for low-wage workers to get by. They freeze their employment histories with Equifax and hibernate their LinkedIn profiles, so employers can't see they're holding multiple jobs. Those with multiple jobs also seek out positions they hope will be OE-friendly — light on meetings, as well as on the workload. There's another incentive: Unlike most Americans, those who work multiple jobs don't have to worry about layoffs. There's something radical that happens to a worker's psychology when they have multiple jobs.

Now, 12 years later, Schroeder wears a bionic hand designed by the startup Aether Biomedical, and it's business as usual for him. Aether's hand, called the Zeus, can lift up to 77 pounds and switch between 12 different customizable grip patterns in real time. Aether works with upper limb amputees, and anyone with an amputation level between the wrist and the shoulder can use its Zeus hand. More than 200 patients are using Aether's Zeus hand, and like other bionic hands, it works by translating the electrical signals in the arm muscles. Aether's Zeus hand is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and it's covered by all major insurance payers.

The orange juice was also a little pulpy and separated overnight—a common occurrence with both centrifugal juicers we tested. Others you should know aboutGreat multiuse juicerKuvings’s 4-in-1 masticating juicer comes with attachments to make smoothies, sorbets and nut milks, too. Masticating juicers use a rotating, screw-shaped augur to crush and press fresh produce to extract juice, while centrifugal juicers rely on a high-speed spinning metal blade to pulverize produce into a mesh filter. Masticating juicers are slower and cost more, but often have higher yields and are therefore less wasteful (which we found to be true in our testing). Centrifugal juicers are faster and more powerful, but create foamier juice that’s more likely to separate.

STAT Health sells an in-ear wearable that patients can use 24/7 to track blood flow. So when Lee's elderly father began having repeated fainting sessions, Lee turned to in-ear technology to help solve the problem. His brainchild is STAT Health, an 24/7 in-ear wearable that measures blood flow to the head to better understand symptoms such as dizziness, brain fog, headaches, fainting, and fatigue that occur while standing. STAT Health's in-ear wearable. The wearable was clinically tested at Johns Hopkins University and was shown to predict fainting in users minutes before it happens.

CNN —A 21-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guardsman has been identified by The New York Times as the leader of an online gaming chat group where a trove of classified documents was posted. CNN has not independently verified the identity of the chat leader or the FBI’s interest in talking with him. While there’s a large number of people who had access to the documents, investigators have been able to home in on a small number for closer scrutiny thanks to the forensic trail left by the person who posted the documents. On Wednesday, the Washington Post reported that the person behind the leak worked on a military base and posted sensitive national security secrets in an online group of acquaintances. The Pentagon has begun to limit who across the government receives its highly classified daily intelligence briefs following a major leak of classified information discovered last week.
Washington CNN —The Pentagon has begun to limit who across the government receives its highly classified daily intelligence briefs following a major leak of classified information discovered last week. All the email lists have been reviewed, a senior defense official said, and some restrictions may only be temporary. Everyone on the lists had proper clearance, but not everyone needs to receive that information daily, the official added. Previously, slides from the Joint Staff briefing deck could be accessed by hundreds, if not thousands, of people across the government, officials said. “Having to scale that distribution back, even temporarily, is a bitter pill,” said the source familiar with internal joint staff deliberations.

Los Angeles-based Apex Space, led by co-founders Ian Cinnamon and Max Benassi, wants to better produce spacecraft at scale. "The one element holding everything back is really on the satellite bus side. They enter an increasingly competitive space subsector of satellite bus manufacturing, with the likes of York Space, which recently reached a $1 billion valuation. But Cinnamon says the market standard is still "handmade" spacecraft that take years to evolve from order to design to delivery. "We're not designing a new satellite bus every single time.
Investor Sven Henrich asked Musk (via his Twitter account "@northmantrader") if the report was true. As CNBC previously reported, Musk posted a series of tweets earlier this month seeking support for what he thought would be the best outcome for Russia's war on Ukraine. Musk proposed UN-supervised votes in Ukraine about whether certain regions of the nation under siege should join Russia. Publicly opining on war could prove risky for Musk and SpaceX, cautions J2 Ventures founder and Managing Partner Alex Harstrick. Musk has also recently sounded off, in an interview with Financial Times, about his vision for resolving China's conflict with Taiwan.
